Last updated September 2026 · This draft requires final legal review before it's treated as binding policy.
For new profiles we store only your kid's first name and an age range — never an exact birthday, birth month or birth year. Interests are optional. We never use kid data for third-party ad targeting.
You can sign in with email and password or with Google. We don't require a phone number to use Social Cub.
Your sign-in details, your household details, your general home area, the recommendations you tap or save, and the connections you make.
We only ever use a general area for your home and for matching — never your exact or live location. Here Now broadcasts are opt-in, visible only to connections you've accepted, and expire in about two hours. Turning off Discoverable keeps the app fully usable while hiding you from Find Your People and search.
Personal Plans you create are private by default — visible only to the people you invite or to a single Group you share them with. Public local Events are a separate, openly listed surface and are never mixed with your private Plans.
Notification preferences in Settings control in-app alerts only. Social Cub does not currently send email, push notifications or scheduled reminders.
When you import a group chat, we extract recommendation mentions for your review. The raw chat text is discarded after extraction — only the recommendations you confirm are kept.
Parents can review, edit or delete kid profiles and their own account at any time from Settings. Blocking is silent and immediately hides both people from each other. Email info@socialcub.com for a data or deletion request. (Contact address pending confirmation.)
